Early 2011 Intel Prepare Processor Chip Tablets



According to the Reuter news quoted Techradar, now Intel is preparing to launch a new chip platform that will be intended specifically for the tablet PC market. Chip platform called Oak Trail will have affordable prices and planned to attend the beginning of the year 2011. Chip Oak Trail is claimed to be more efficient and can compete with rival Intel as the ARM chip that currently dominate the chip market smartphones.

Intel representative mentioned that the Oak Trail will be used to view HD video on the tablet up to eight hours. Thus, the tablets will be available in 2011 will be used much longer like to travel or in the bustle outside another office.

Currently, Apple controls 95% of the market thanks to the iPad tablet. Sales of tablet is predicted to increase sharply in 2011 as the emergence of Android-based tablet devices such as Samsung and Dell Streak Galaxy Tab.
