Samsung announces its latest Galaxy S4 camera-phone running on Android 4.2 and called as Galaxy S4 Zoom. Its a hybrid version of Galaxy S4 mini and the Galaxy Camera and it houses in it the smartness of phone and features of a digital camera with a nice zoom lens and a flash.
It is a 4.3" inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960X540pix and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the screen, It is powered with a 1.5GHz Dual Core Processor, which i think is a good move by Samsung, As I think quad core processors are real battery drainers unless manufactures provides huge mAh batteries with them, Galaxy S4 Zoom speeds up with a 1.5GB of RAM. Its dimensions are much thicker than the Galaxy S4 Mini and it can be due to that zoom lens of 10x.
What is the most important feature of this device and will be its key-Selling point is its camera which is a 16 MP Sensor and 10x optical zoom and xenon flash hmm its nicely equipped but the zoom is not up-to the level as in Galaxy Camera that is 21x , But the key stroke played by Samsung here is providing stunningly designed 24mm lens, which looks pretty lovely and fits in well.
It is capable of recording 1080p videos @ 30fps and 720p videos @ 60fps, It has a usual Samsung TouchWiz and Android 4.2.2 OS.
The battery is 2330mAh, which I think is decent enough for a dual core processor it can take a full beating of one day even after doing photography and calls. Though, I think it would be better if Samsung had provided atleast 2600mAh Battery.
On the memory side it has an internal memory of 8GB which is expendable upto 64GB via hot swappable Micro SD card Slot.
In terms of its mingling with other devices it has WiFi with a/b/g/n profiles, BT 4.0 LE and A-GPS, You can also make calls through this device and it supports 3G With HSPA and LTE connectivity but that depends on availability of the operators
