RIM has announced a flagship product again, this time in full tablet touch screen
7-inch called Playbook. Different from most of the tablets on the market, Playbook using OS based on micro-kernel architecture of QNX Neutrino.
In addition it also has supported Flash Playbook 10.1, WebKit and HTML 5, OpenGL, Adobe Mobile AIR, Adobe Reader, Java, POSIX and BlackBerry WebWorks. Playbook camera can record video up to 1080p resolution with video formats including H.264, MPEG, DivX and WMV. As for audio formats include MP3, AAC and WMA.
One more thing of interest is the Playbook has the front camera is still not clearly explained whether this Playbook will support video calls via the service's most popular BlackBerry Messengers
(BBM) hers. If so it would be very exciting because there have been more than 35 million active users globally dispersed BlackBerry Messenger.
What if this turns out to be the ultimate weapon during this RIM, BlackBerry Messenger is already open and can be integrated with third-party applications through the BlackBerry Social Platform. Whether Apple can incontestably FaceTime? Just wait for further developments.
