Google
recently bought BlindType yesterday, a San Francisco-based company that develops technology to quickly type a Touch Screen
smartphone. By BlindType users do not need to type on virtual keyboard and can type in any part of the screen. BlindType automatically recognize hand movements and convert it to text. Or in other words the user can type without the need to look at the screen.
BlindType is now available for Apple devices that use touch screen, including the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. These applications seem to want to take Google to Android, so this great ability can also be embedded on Android.
Another popular application for speed typing on a handset
with a touch screen is Swype. With the news BlindType bought by Google is the competition for innovation in the field of typing touch-screen handset will be more competitive and this is certainly going to benefit the user.
