Nintendo will release 3DS in Early 2011?

Nintendo has invited the reporters at an event on January 19, 2011 to be held in New York and Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is estimated that this event is the announcement of the launch date and details of the Nintendo 3DS, 3D portable gaming device.

Nintendo said that the show in NYC will be presenting a demo of this game, hand-on,and presentations by Nintendo America president and COO Reggie Fils-Aime. When asked to the party Nintendo UK about the event in Amsterdam, Nintendo representatives did not comment at all.

Japan is known to have 3DS on February 19, so there is speculation that Nintendo will launch the Nintendo 3DS simultaneously around the world. However, Nintendo could be waiting a month later before the launch in the U.S. and Europe to coincide with the Easter holidays.
