Samsung Kies and Kies Air now for Custom Android Samsung Smartphones

As we know that Samsung Kies and Kies Air are the software's that are provided to users to effectively manage their phones and create its backups to later retrieve when you accidentally lost your data. Its an utility which lets you view and manage your contacts, call logs, messages, songs, videos etc and lets you also create a back of them on your PC. Kies is a great software developed by Samsung to effectively provide latest android based Samsung smartphones a gateway to update their stock firmware and to use all the new features and facilities provided by Samsung.

Now this one of the most popular method of managing your smartphone on PC as most of the people trust this as a great brand that is Samsung. But the drawback is that it doesn't comes for the custom based android roms that means it only works with stock firmware of the Samsung nothing is in it for the Custom rom users. Requirements

• Samsung Kies v2 and above : It is recommended that you have latest Samsung Kies on your PC. Please, note that Kies version older than 2 are not supported by Kies Air and thus you won't be able to connect wirelessly with your PC.
• Kies Air : Kies Air is an application to be installed on your Samsung handset to initiate a connection with your PC, so as to manage it wirelessly.

Installation Steps

1. Upgrade to or install latest version of Samsung Kies on your PC.
2. Install Kies Air on your Android powered Samsung smartphone.
Note : Before you proceed make sure that the computer and mobile device are connected to the same WiFi network.  
3. Make sure you've followed all instructions given at WI-Fi Connection Setup Guide within Kies PC app.
4. Go to the App Drawer on your Phone.
5. Locate and open Kies Air application.
6. Click on Start button [Note :- You might need to scroll down a bit before the Start button gets on the view.]
7. Kies Air will provide you a url. Now, open any browser on your PC and type the URL shown in Kies Air.
8. On your mobile device, click on allow, to allow the computer to manage your phone You are all set to manage your phone from your computer.
