MiniS3 a new V2 Rom for Galaxy Mini/Pop(GT S5570)

As on the of the Galaxy S3 projects a MiniS3 is one of its output by safariking, It designed specifically for ARMv6 devices to experience the whole new replica of Galaxy S3 experience. Handsets like Galaxy fit, Galaxy mini, Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Gio, With the efforts of developers users of these handsets get to experience and enjoy the wholesome experience of Galaxy S3 on our mediocre devices.

Now this post is mainly focused on how to put this rom galaxy mini/pop GT S5570. It is a Cyanongen mod 9 with a Touchwiz 5 launcher and few additional features of galaxy S3 is emulated in this rom, so as to give the S3 experience of our small devices. Now i think we should feel like a king with all those custom rom developments are coming wohoho i dont think we have to buy any other cellphone our galaxy mini/pop is ready to take any challenge isnt it guys.

Now would like to tell you about some details of this Custom rom:-

As it is based on cyanongen rom 9 that means a sure shot better user experience with better interface elements you will see in it.

The transition animations are so smooth and like other they are also attractive to the eyes.

Its just like a stock Icream Sandwich rom on Galaxy S3

Yes not all it also provides a better ICS 4.0.4 experience.

hmm as the rom comes bundled with some features it also comes with hitches and glitches but with that much features and innovation we can bear with some glitches. so, we can get our hands dirty on this rom. Now it carries over the camera and radio errors with it just like in cyanongenmod 9 rom. It a rom built to fulfill your day to day needs but for gamers and video streamers like me it might not prove handy because it lags a bit while performing such activities

Note : Those who have Gingerbread OS and any Custom Recovery installed on their device can skip Step 1 and Step 2. Also, those who have any custom rom installed can skip both Step 1 and 2.

1. Upgrade your firmware to Gingerbread using Odin Multidownloader v4.38.

2. Install any custom recovery available for Samsung Galaxy Mini/Pop. You may have Clock Work Mod Recovery

3.Download latest SGS3 rom for galaxy mini from below.

• MiniSIII v2.zip

4. Copy the downloaded file to the (root directory of) your sd-card.

5. Reboot your device to Custom Recovery (Press Home + Power Button).

6. [Optional but, Recommended] Do a Nandroid Backup of your current rom.

Now flash this MiniSIII V2.zip on clockwork mod recovery. Follow the steps below :

• Choose Install Zip From Sd Card >> Choose Zip From SD Card option and then select the MiniSIII V2.zip file which you downloaded in step 3.
  
• Note : If you are using RZ Recovery, choose Install Menu >> Select MiniSIII V2.zip >> Select Wipe Data and Wipe Cache >> Choose Install MiniSIII V2.zip and wait till the zip is installed.

8. Wait till the rom is flashed/installed on your device. Once done, Wipe Data and Wipe cache from recovery menu.

9. Reboot your device from your recovery main menu.

Note : It is needed to do a complete data and cache wipe as told in Step 8.


Flicker Problem Update:-

• cm9_nightly_tass_complete_fix_patch.zip : Flash this in recovery, if you get errors such as screen flickers and others. Note : It will replace your boot animation to CyanogenMod 9 boot animation.
